About Us
Roti Rath is a heartfelt humanitarian effort committed to one simple yet powerful mission — ensuring that no underprivileged child sleeps on an empty stomach. In a world where millions struggle for a basic meal, Roti Rath rolls through the streets with warmth, purpose, and a promise: to serve hot, nutritious food to children who need it the most.
Operating through a mobile van that functions as a moving bhandara, we reach out to slums, construction sites, shelters, and neglected neighbourhoods where hunger is a daily reality. Every plate we serve is prepared with love and served with dignity — because we believe that food is not just a need, it’s a right.
At Roti Rath, we recognize that hunger doesn’t just impact health — it steals childhood, hinders education, and limits potential. That’s why we are not just feeding children; we are helping build stronger, healthier futures. A well-fed child is more likely to attend school, to dream, and to thrive.
Our initiative is powered by a dedicated team of volunteers and supporters who believe in the power of kindness. Though we currently focus on meal distribution, our growing dreams include expanding into areas like education, skill development, environmental efforts, and animal care.
Roti Rath stands as a symbol of service, compassion, and the belief that change begins with a single act of care. One meal at a time, we’re nurturing not just bodies — but hope.
Objectives
- To provide consistent access to freshly prepared meals for underprivileged children and families.
- To reduce hunger-related school dropouts by ensuring children are not deprived of food.
- To create awareness about the impact of nutrition on education and well-being.
- To promote community participation in combating food insecurity.
- To extend the reach of Roti Rath across cities, making food accessible wherever it’s needed.
